Summer Address Changed (Again) [return to News] No, the camp has not moved. We just received the official address from the post master. You need to start using this address, especially if you send a package via FedEx or UPS who require a "street number".The camp's new summer address is: 22767 Cap Endres Road (not 23378 as originally told to us by the post office).
It wasn't that long ago the the camp address simply read Camp Chippewa, Cass Lake, Minnesota, and the mail arrived by boat. Now the mail arrives by car. Along came GPS and with it, our change of address. When the Postal Service came to take the coordinates from their GPS for the location of the camp mailbox, the surveyor took the coordinates at the location of the camp gate. Later, they realized what had happened and sent another surveyor out to record the location of the camp office, wherein lies the mailbox. Unfortunately, the difference in the GPS coordinates resulted in a new address just two months after receiving the first new address.
