On January 30, 2004 the temperature at Camp got down to -35 degrees F (-37 C).  By 4:00 pm it warmed up to a balmy -8 degrees (-22 C).

Lonnie lives up at camp year round. He says:

"You don't touch anything outside.  Anything below -15, I don't care how low it gets, it just darn cold.  If you want to hibernate, this is a good spot.  I'm ready to spring."
